CVARs

CVAR stands for "Configuration Variable". This means that there's a name and a value. Let's see at the main types of values a CVAR can have:

String
When you need to type in some text.
Example of a CVAR using a string: hostname (for defining the name of your server)

Integer
When you need to type in a number.
Example of a CVAR using an integer: mp_timelimit (for specifying the time between map changes)

Boolean
When you need to answer yes or no in numbers... Yes = 1 and No = 0
Example of a CVAR using a Boolean: mp_flashlight (for enabling or disabling the use of flashlight)

For easier reference, CVARs have been organized and categorized by game. Click on one of these links to pop-up a new window containing the CVARs for the specific game. To search for a CVAR, use your browser's search feature (usually CTRL+F). Remember that these CVAR pages are still uncompleted and some aren't even started.
